Last dump truck to Caterpillar plant
Only load to the landfill. Over 348 Volunteer hours. 9 dump truck and 4 pickup truck loads of wood to the old Caterpillar plant to be burned to generate steam. Recycled 545 pounds of scrap metal. Roof shingles recycled to make road asphalt. Salvaged enough boards and battens to completely side our new storage barn at the Jipp. Salvaged enough lumber to build all our doors, interior partitions and racking for our storage barn. Still have additional barn boards and beams, and architectural items (cupola, Lightening rods, doors, ladders, etc) for sale at the Jipp. As of August 27, 2011 we have sold $874 worth of barn salvage.
